Desired Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 21 years or older at the time of employment; Possess
or able to posses a valid Class C Kansas State driver's
license without record of suspension or revocation in any
State. Must not have felony convictions and disqualifying
criminal history within the past seven years. Must be a U.S.
citizen and be able to read and write the English language.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or
equivalent. Equivalent must be supplemented by a two-year
community college degree or vocational school training in
police science, law enforcement, criminal justice
administration, public administration, or related field. An
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements: Ability to meet Department's
physical standards.
