Municipal Court Warrant Officer
City of Liberal
Posted
03/30/08
|
The fundamental reason this
classification exists is to provide assistance to the Municipal
Court Judge by processing, serving, and tracking warrants as
ordered by the court. Work includes securing, informing
defendants of procedures to be followed and escorting prisoners
as the Judge or case disposition indicates. Job duties follow
established routines, but unusual cases require the application
of judgment and discretion. The Municipal Court Warrant Officer
reports directly to, and supervision is received from the
Municipal Court Judge and Court Supervisor. |
