Embedded Law Enforcement Professional MPRI

MPRI is seeking to hire law enforcement personnel who qualify for embedded overseas assignments with our military in Iraq and Afghanistan. 

The assignment is the Embedded Law Enforcement Professional (LEP 2) program.  LEPs will be embedded with US Army and Marine units deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). LEP must have the capability to obtain a SECRET level security clearance. 

The LEP will assist other components of the current Counter-Insurency efforts and advise on the investigative direction, attack, and neutralization of complex criminal and insurgent groups.  Your goal will be to disrupt, detect and/or defeat the IED networks confronting military and civilian personnel. Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

The mission in Iraq and Afghanistan is physically and mentally challenging.  The weather is harsh and depending where you are located there can be extreme heat in the summer and extreme cold in the winter.  The daily work schedule  taps into 7 days a week.  You must consider the long-term commitment and any health or physical issues that would prevent or disrupt a successful mission.

SALARY

The overseas salary for this position is $212K per annum which is a 70 percent increase over the base salary of 125K for stateside pay prior to deployment.  You also accrual two paid 15-day blocks of leave and receive health, life, dental, vision plus other company benefits. (Current TS/SCI clearance holders are eligible for higher level positions as well as a higher $$$$ salary range)

MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS

You must be a “seasoned” (8+ years) investigator, special agent or detective with a proven track record with handling high-level complex investigations in assignments such as organized crime, narcotics, homicide, cold case, public corruption and gangs.
