Olathe Police Department

The City of Olathe, Kansas is seeking qualified individuals to enforce federal, state, and local laws; aid citizens, investigate crimes, and traffic accidents.
TYPE Full Time
SALARY Starting salary $35, 939 with a top-out pay of $61,966. Officers will be paid a higher starting salary depending on years of patrol experience $37,377 to $42,044 starting. You will also receive a $2500.00 bonus upon successful completion of the field training program.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have above average written and verbal skills. Requires a HS Diploma/GED, must be at least 21 years of age, have correctable vision 20/20, no commission/convictions of a felony, must be able to pass written test, oral board, background investigation, polygraph, psychological exam, and physical agility test. Within 1 year from date of employment must reside within a 45 mile radius of the Olathe Police Department.
