Peabody Police Department

The Peabody Police Department is filling a vacancy. Peabody is located 45 miles Northeast of Wichita in Southwest Marion County. Peabody has a population of 1400 residents and a department that includes 3 full time officers.
TYPE Full Time
SALARY Salary Range $12.00-15.00 per hour (DOE). Benefits include: Healthcare Package 75/25 split with city paying 75%, KPERS Retirement, Uniforms and Equipment provided. Use of city provided vehicle for officers on duty or on call. Some residency restrictions apply.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, valid KS Drivers License or ability to obtain, KLETC Certification or ability to obtain. Applicants must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screen test.
