This position is providing communication services for the Department of Public Safety. The position provides communication services via the use of CCTV, Computer, telephone, two-way radio console. The position is responsible for monitoring all alarm, access and fire alarm systems for the complex.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma. Two years experience in a Communications related field. Free of any felony convictions. Hearing must be correctable in a range that will allow normal radio and telephone conversation. Vision must be correctable to a range that will allow reading and/or viewing of computer display terminals, maps, printouts and CCTV quickly and accurately. Meet Civil Service requirements for this position. Successfully complete testing for National Crime Information Center (NCIC) certification within six months of employment. Successful recertification is required every two years. Must submit to and successfully complete a background investigation and psychological examination.
