Communications Officer, Oakley Police Department

The Oakley Police Department is looking for qualified, hard working individuals who are interested in a Communications/911 Career. THe Oakley 911 Center dispatches police, fire, and EMS for two full counties as well as some administrative work for the Oakley Police Department. 
This department encourages and supports training and continuing education for the 911 Communications staff.

TYPE:  Full Time

SALARY:  Based on experience with the possibility of a 4% raise annually, based on merit. Full family insurance. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

18 years of age
High School Diploma or GED
No felony convictions
Computer skills
Able to obtain EMD (Emergency Medical Dispatch) and NCIC certifications
