The City of Holton Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Captain. Applicants must be 21 years of age, possess a valid drivers license, be able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen. Desired Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
United States citizen
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a full-time commissioned law enforcement officer with progressive supervisory experience. KLETC certified or eligible for reciprocity preferred.
Good physical condition
No Criminal Record or Brady/Giglio Issues
Able to meet City of Holton residency requirement within 6 months
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
