City of Eastborough Police Officer – Experienced Certified Officers Encouraged

The Role

Experienced officers in Eastborough take an active role in:

• Proactive patrol and criminal investigations
• Community policing and neighborhood engagement
• Traffic enforcement and special events
• Assisting other agencies during major incidents or specialized operations
• Mentoring and supporting fellow officers as needed

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time position
• 12-hour shifts with every other weekend off
• Rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Pay range: $26.57 – $34.69 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 21 years of age
• United States citizen
• Valid Kansas driver’s license
• No felony, domestic violence, or serious misdemeanor convictions
• Current certified law enforcement officer preferred
• No current or pending Brady/Giglio issues

Selection Process

Applicants may be required to complete a written exam, physical agility test, oral interview, polygraph, psychological evaluation, background investigation, drug screening, and physical examination.
